Lusamine is the president of the Aether Foundation in Pokémon Sun and Moon, serving as the main antagonist. Though she presents herself as a protector creating a “utopia for Pokémon,” her true obsession is collecting and controlling anything she finds beautiful. In her Motherbeast form, she becomes consumed by isolation and possessiveness. In the Ultra versions, she shows a more sympathetic side, driven to protect those she loves from Necrozma and to reunite with her lost husband.
